Musings from the Bunker 7/5/20
The above is an example of how effective a mask is when used in proximity to others (the petri dishes are, I believe, actually bacterial examples).
In the interest of another Sunday of fantastic, beautiful, perfect quotes “in his own words” (and with his own punctuation and capitalization style) from this week:
Can anyone believe that Princeton just dropped the name of Woodrow Wilson from their highly respected policy center. Now the Do Nothing Democrats want to take off the name John Wayne from an airport. Incredible stupidity!
I will Veto the Defense Authorization Bill if the Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (of all people!) Amendment, which will lead to the renaming (plus other bad things!) of Fort Bragg, Fort Robert E. Lee, and many other Military Bases from which we won Two World Wars, is in the Bill!
Sorry to inform the Do Nothing Democrats, but I am getting VERY GOOD internal polling numbers. Just like 2016, the nytimes Polls are Fake! The FoxNews Polls are a JOKE. Do you think they will apologize to me & their subscribers AGAIN when I WIN? People want LAW, ORDER & SAFETY!
Cases, Cases, Cases! If we didn’t test so much and so successfully, we would have very few cases. If you test 40,000,000 people, you are going to have many cases that, without the testing (like other countries), would not show up every night on the Fake Evening News.....
Just to be clear:
• Woodrow Wilson was a known racist, as was John Wayne. Plus, why in the world would anybody name an airport after an actor anyway? And why would anyone want to fight to retain that name?
• Forts Bragg, Lee and others were not named anywhere near the end of the Civil War. And the military bases from which soldiers were deployed to Europe in WW I and WW II would have been just as successful under another name.
• Mr. Trump should disclose the internal poll numbers upon which he is relying for his statement.
• The total number of tests administered through July 4th (the day after the President’s speech) was 36,000,000.
And this from Dan Rather, regarding the reports on the Russians paying Taliban bounty hunters to kill U.S. servicemen:
